At Amada Senior Care, we believe great care starts with great people. We are seeking an energetic, relationship-driven Recruiting Coordinator to lead caregiver recruitment, onboarding, and retention efforts for our growing home care organization in San Antonio. 

This is more than a recruiting role. You will play a direct part in building a team of compassionate caregivers who help seniors remain safe, independent, and comfortable in their homes. Pay: $20-22.00 per hour

What You'll Do 

Talent Acquisition & Recruiting 

  • Source, attract, and engage qualified caregiver candidates through Indeed, job boards, social media, referrals, networking, and community partnerships 

  • Maintain a strong candidate pipeline to support ongoing hiring needs 

  • Conduct interviews 

  • Review applications, assess qualifications, and guide candidates through the hiring process 

  • Attend job fairs, recruiting events, nursing schools, and community outreach opportunities 

  • Develop creative recruiting strategies to attract top talent in a competitive labor market 

  • Manage job postings and ensure positions are effectively marketed 

Onboarding & Training 

  • Coordinate pre-employment processes including background screenings, reference checks, and documentation 

  • Conduct new hire orientation classes 

  • Maintain accurate employee files and onboarding records 

  • Support caregiver training programs and compliance requirements 

  • Ensure all hiring and onboarding activities follow applicable employment laws and company policies 

Caregiver Engagement & Retention 

  • Support employee recognition and retention initiatives 

  • Build strong relationships with caregivers throughout their employment journey 

  • Help create a positive employee experience from recruitment through ongoing engagement 

  • Partner with operations and scheduling teams to ensure smooth caregiver placement and communication 

Administrative & Team Support 

  • Track recruiting metrics and hiring progress 

  • Assist with recruiting budgets and hiring initiatives 

  • Maintain recruiting systems, reports, and databases 

  • Participate in special projects and other duties as assigned 

What We're Looking For 

Required Qualifications 

  • Minimum of 1 year of recruiting or talent acquisition

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills 

  • Excellent organization, time management, and follow-through 

  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment 

  • Knowledge of employment laws and hiring best practices 

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and technology platforms 

  • Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and ability to travel locally for recruiting activities 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Experience recruiting for healthcare, home care, staffing, senior care, or service industries 

  • Experience conducting new hire orientation and employee onboarding 
  • ​​​​​​​Associate's degree

Schedule 

  • Full-Time 

  • Monday-Friday 

  • Occasional evenings or weekends for recruiting events as needed 

Local travel within the San Antonio area required. Mileage reimbursement at $0.76 per mile.
